Route 66 Attractions

Main Street USA crosses Missouri through St. Louis, Rolla, Springfield, and Joplin.

South East Missouri

When traveling Route 66 through Missouri, make time to head south. The spring fed streams and rolling hills offer some of the most breathtaking views in the state. The Ozark National Scenic Riverways, located deep in the Mark Twain National Forest, are home to some of the most beautiful trails and streams in the state. Whether hiking, floating or exploring the past in one of the many grist mills, it will be challenging to return to the Mother Road.
